Daf Lewis Bass Player on “Wicked” Apollo Victoria, London
"This new stand is one of those "why didn't I think of that" designs; so simple and effective, it eliminates the problems of trying to find a spike holder you can't see, or of having to pick the bass up to put on a cradle. I've had a number of different designed stands over the years and had ended up not using one at all because they were too much hassle - I now take this with me on all my gigs - it's great!"

"The stand is absolutely perfect for doubling gigs where I'm switching between upright and electric bass. It is sturdy yet lightweight and Pete is a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough."

"This new bass stand is just what I’ve been waiting for all these years!
At last, we bass-players can rest easy in the knowledge that our precious instruments will no longer tumble off their rickety stands at any moment.
Even better than that, this stand is great news for doublers: picking the instrument up and putting it down can now be done safely and securely in record time. Brilliant for those swift instrument changes we are so often asked to do.
I wholeheartedly recommend this stand!"

"Pete, I thought I'd send a quick note to say thanks for the stand.
After trying many of the alternatives over the years I can say, without doubt, that your bass stand is by far the best, especially on those gigs where I need to swap quickly between upright and electric basses.
This stand supports and cradles the instrument in such a way that I know it's going to be safe. Well built, well designed and the bonus is that it takes up little space when dismantled.
I could have done with this twenty years ago!"

I just received my Bass Bar and want to congratulate you for solving the riddle of how to design a stand for an upright bass that is sturdy yet light, very stable and dependable, and a joy to use. As others have said, it is amazing that no one has brought this out sooner. Please add my name to the people who are pleased at how good this stand is. It fits easy into a K&M 11460 canvas carry bag along with my double-wide Stagg conductors stand, and will be part of my regular gig kit from now on. Bravo.

I have not had my Bass Bar for long but it has already proved invaluable. It is simple, portable, quick to use and doesn't damage my bass, all things that were lacking in my previous stand. Quick changes are now actually quick! Thanks Pete!
